
GABRIELLA HAZAN
Gabriella Hazan is a rising 3L at Emory University Law School, where she is the Executive Articles Editor of Emory Law Journal Vol. 76. As a 2L she was a teaching assistant for constitutional law with Professor Alexander “Sasha” Volokh and served as a mentor for the Intellectual Propriety Society. Gabriella graduated from Rice University with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Political Science. After graduation she was a science policy fellow at the Science Technology Policy Institute in Washington, D.C.
Gabriella chose Haug Partners for the firm’s expertise in patent litigation, interdisciplinary counseling, and supportive culture. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, sitting in parks, and working on her knitting.

SOPHIE FULARA
Sophie Fulara is a rising 3L at Fordham University School of Law, where she is the current Writing and Research Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal. During law school, she gained litigation experience while externing at the City Bar Justice Center and competing for Fordham’s Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center. Prior to law school, she passed the patent bar to become a registered patent agent. She graduated from Brandeis University with a double major in Biology (B.S.) and English.
Sophie chose Haug Partners because of the firm’s expertise in handling high-stakes life science and patent litigation cases. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the city, cooking, and trying fitness classes.
