Managing Partner Sandy Kuzmich moderated a panel discussion on “Building Your IP Litigation Toolbox” at the 2023 Women, Influence, & Power in Law (WIPL) conference held in New Orleans on October 17-19, 2023.  The four in-house counsel panelists joining her brought perspectives from a diverse set of industries, ranging from early-stage pharmaceuticals, space exploration, and online industrial supplies.  The discussion focused on how best to position the legal department within a company to prepare for and effectively navigate intellectual property litigation.  The panelists considered best practices concerning such issues as training, agreements, and public relations spanning all types of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
