Haug Partners’ (formerly known as FLH) successful representation of Shire Laboratories Inc. since February 2003 lead to the August 2006 settlements of Hatch-Waxman litigations pending in the Southern District of New York, involving three Shire patents and defendant Barr Laboratories’ efforts to market generic versions of Shire’s Adderall XR® Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (“ADHD”) products.

Haug Partners’ (formerly FLH) efforts regarding the same Shire patents in both the District of Delaware and the Southern District of New York have lead to January 2006 settlements of Hatch Waxman litigations against Impax Laboratories, another company attempting to market generic versions of Shire’s Adderall XR® ADHD products.
