Haug Partners’ Managing Partner Sandy Kuzmich, Ph.D., along with associate attorney Ali Berkin, Ph.D., hosted a table of clients and friends of the firm at the Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA) 2023 Annual Reception and Dinner. The keynote speaker at the dinner, Chief Judge Moore of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, announced the Federal Circuit’s plans to launch a learning center in the National Courts Building complex, which will focus on encouraging District of Columbia public school students to explore the intersection of law and technology.  Students will also have the opportunity to tour the historic property, which, among other things, was the first headquarters for NASA and the national headquarters for the National Women’s Party.
