New York Law Journal Names Kaitlin Farrell as 2026 Rising Star

New York – July 13, 2026: Haug Partners is proud to announce that The New York Law Journal has recognized Partner Kaitlin Farrell as a 2026 “Rising Star” in Intellectual Property as part of the New York Legal Awards. The Rising Star category recognizes New York’s most promising lawyers age 40 and under who have distinguished themselves through exceptional legal work, leadership, and contributions to the profession.

Kaitlin is an intellectual property litigation partner with a particular focus on patent litigation, including pharmaceutical patent litigation involving both small molecules and biologics. A career-long attorney at Haug Partners, Kaitlin supports clients in complex intellectual property disputes and transactions, drawing on her extensive litigation and trial experience to develop strategies tailored to her clients’ legal and business objectives.

“I am honored to be recognized by The New York Law Journal among this year’s Rising Stars,” said Farrell. “I have been fortunate to build my career at Haug Partners, where I have worked alongside exceptional colleagues and clients on complex and consequential intellectual property matters. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to have learned from the some of the most talented patent litigators in the field who have mentored me throughout my career.”

A list of all finalists is available on The New York Law Journal’s website. The awardees will be honored at a ceremony on September 3, 2026, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan.
