Ben Natter and Jessica Sblendorio had their recent article discussing the rising trend in copyright infringement suits filed relating to copyrights in tattoos. Are tattoos eligible for copyright protection? Or is there a separation made between the copyright in the design of the tattoo and the copyright in the tattoo as it is duplicated on the frame of an individual?
