Xiaocen Zhang is a Foreign Law Clerk in the New York office of Haug Partners LLP, specializing in management and strategy relating to cross-border trademark issues. With extensive international experience, the Trademark team relies on Xiaocen to assist with management high-stakes trademark cases while liaising seamlessly with local attorneys around the world.
Prior to studying in the United States, Xiaocen honed her expertise as a trademark paralegal at one of China’s leading intellectual property law firms, where she managed trademark portfolios for hundreds of clients and oversaw thousands of trademark cases.
Her diverse legal background enables her to effectively handle various trademark matters, coordinate with international counsel, and develop comprehensive intellectual protection strategies for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Xiaocen graduated from Fordham University School of Law magna cum laude, adding a robust academic foundation to her diverse legal background. Additionally, her judicial externship at the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division sharpened her legal research and analytical skills, further enhancing her ability to navigate different legal frameworks.
Xiaocen is an active member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and has devoted her time to pro bono clinics, providing valuable assistance to underserved communities.
Having passed the New York Bar Exam, Xiaocen is awaiting admission to practice. She has also passed the Chinese Bar Exam.
