OVERVIEW

Matthew Ryan is one of the Founding Partners of Haug Partners and is the Managing Partner of the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He also serves as Haug Partner’s General Counsel, managing all legal matters on behalf of the Firm. He has extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property, including litigation, prosecution, transactional matters, and client counseling. Mr. Ryan represents multinational and emerging companies in litigating matters in a diverse range of technology areas in numerous state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. He also supervises an aggressive prosecution practice for these clients in proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; assists in representing them before the various international patent authorities; and regularly counsels them in complex business matters and transactions, including drafting and negotiating R&D, sales, and license agreements.
